"Slave Girl" Unframed Poem And Picture

The picture with this poem was created in 2006 and sold to a Mr Shepherd from Hertfordshire. A very loyal client who has an extensive collection of my work. The picture entitled "Slave Girl" was used in a publication with a poem by Joyce Samuels. It was a very short poem with her perception of my painting. A few years later I decided to write my own poem about the picture as I felt I was in a better place to do so after reflecting on what lay behind this painting.
