"The World's Your Oyster"

This painting was created during 1995 and the poem was written during 1998. I exhibited my work at various venues in and around the UK. From 8th April-7th February 1995, I partook in five exhibitions and was commissioned to do a backdrop for the bloomsbury theatre in London. At the beginning of 1998 I moved from a women's refuge to temporary accommodation with my two children. This was when I wrote my poem.
