Shirley Kaci Art And Design Seeking The Moment Yellow

This digital painting was inspired when I saw an open call for artists on social media to exhibit work at the London Underground. I was excited but a bit hesitant due to my past experiences of open calls to artist, often led by get rich quick schemes/companies who take advantage of artists knowing that they can sometimes be desperate to showcase and sell their work. However, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and seek the moment. I have created three colourways of this print. One in yellow, green and blue.

I didn't submit this painting to showcase as I had another limited edition print, "Time To Fly", which I felt was more relevant to me and how I was feeling when I submitted my work.

This print will be showcased in May 2024 during my self curated solo exhibition.
